Try-It: Lavender Sugar Scrub
Up until now I've used the Clinique body scrub in my shower to exfoliate. I loved it but I made a promise to myself that this year as I use up products, I will replace them (or at least try to) with natural products and as many homemade as I can. So, I decided to make this super simple lavender sugar scrub. It's amazing. It leaves your skin smooth and moisturized and I like knowing exactly what I'm putting on my body. So happy with how it turned out and how simple it was to make.

Lavender Sugar Scrub
ingredients:
- 1 cup organic sugar
- 1/2 cup grape seed oil
- 10-15 drops therapeutic grade lavender essential oil {you can use any scent you prefer}
instructions:
How to make Lavender Sugar Scrub
- Place the sugar into a large mixing bowl.
- Gradually add the oil to the bowl, stopping occasionally to stir in the oil until the mixture has a slushy consistency.
- Add the essential oil.
- Mix well then spoon into a wide-mouth jar.
NOTES:
This makes an amazing lip scrub, too.
